Wakisha Charter School, a 6th thru 8th grade middle school, was established in year 2000 as a partnership with families and the neighboring community.
Our mission is to provide students with a sound basis for lifelong learning and success. It is our goal to raise the bar, strive for excellence and help develop character as well as engage students in an academically rigorous, African-centered, standards-driven curriculum.
Today’s youth must be self sufficient, well informed, confident, responsible and global to be competitive in tomorrow’s society
